The responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable, and scalable Java code following OOP and design patterns, developing reusable API testing libraries, data generators, reporting tools, and integrations, implementing automation solutions for UI, API, and backend systems, optimizing frameworks for performance, maintainability, and scalability, participating in code reviews, design discussions, and contributing to engineering best practices.
- Develop custom frameworks, tools, and utilities in Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance internal testing infrastructure.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Java code following OOP and design patterns.
- Build reusable API testing libraries, data generators, reporting tools, and integrations.
- Implement automation solutions for various systems.
- Optimize frameworks for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development (not just test scripting).
- Strong knowledge of OOP principles, collections, multithreading, and concurrency.
- Experience with design patterns and building scalable systems.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit/TestNG, Mockito, REST-assured, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with API testing, automation frameworks, and CI/CD tools (Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Git).
- Working knowledge or experience with Mabl, TestRigor, or any AI automation tool.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database validations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write efficient algorithms.
