Job Title: Associate IT QA Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate IT QA Analyst to join our team at Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company. As a key member of our Digital Technology team, you will play a critical role in driving business efficiencies and delivering a better customer experience by connecting technologies, people, information, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate the functionality of software and report test status to ensure successful release of the final product.
  • Create and maintain automation test scripts to test software functionality.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual test scripts for web applications.
  • Ensure developed components meet application requirements and regression test before passing on for final acceptance testing.
  • Report defects and execute defect lifecycle to ensure defects are closed.
  • Support RCA, RRCA, and other QC activities.
  • Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of the overall system.
  • Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements and established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
  • Execute test plans and create test reports. Escalate repeated or critical issues to management timely for their action.
  • Create test tools that facilitate data gathering and test method execution.

Requirements:

  • BE/ME/MS/M Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • 3 years of extensive experience on WEB Testing using Selenium with Java.
  • Experience testing web services (REST and SOAP APIs).
  • Knowledgeable in JSON and XML format.
  • Knowledgeable in API tools: Insomnia, Postman.
  • Knowledgeable in API Automation Tools: ReadyAPI, SOAP UI.
  • Experience in doing API testing preferably using Postman.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in analyzing middle-tier technology problem-solving skills and testing web services.
  • Good understanding of Agile Methodology.
  • Hands-on experience on Core Java, Maven.
  • Experience in automating web applications using Selenium with Java.
  • Hands-on experience in any Java IDE (e.g., Eclipse).
  • Hands-on experience on GIT, JIRA, Jenkins.
  • Working experience in Agile methodology/SAFe with 'in-sprint' automation.
  • Good exposure on product testing.
  • Understanding of Test Management tool.
