Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, including experience with SQL Server and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational support for multiple database products across various verticals and regions in a 24x7 production environment.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve database performance and other issues, and complete monthly product Environmental Health reports.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production customer incidents, including root cause analysis.
  • Complete customer request/trouble/change tickets and manage ticket queues in JIRA to meet SLAs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL Server database administration using best practices.
  • 2+ years of experience with native Azure SQL Database and/or Azure Managed Instance.
  • 3+ years of experience with T-SQL and PowerShell scripting.
  • SQL Server and/or Azure database certifications are preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
