**Job Description:**

As a Senior Medical Writer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality scientific and medical materials that cater to the needs of our clients. You will utilize your expertise in medical science and writing to create engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing client-ready scientific and medical materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and infographics.
  • Liaising with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, authors, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Attending workshops, seminars, and trainings to enhance skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Supporting senior team members in client and external meetings, as needed.
  • Collaborating with client directors to develop innovative medical communications initiatives in the digital space.
  • Ensuring all materials comply with client requirements, SOPs, style guides, and CACTUS' internal SOPs.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology) OR PhD (Life Sciences) OR PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Clear, concise, scientific style of writing with attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office.
