Child Development Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Child Development Specialist and contribute to our multidisciplinary team.


Responsibilities:
  • Child Psychology Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of child and adolescent psychological development to inform assessment and intervention.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Proficiently use standardized tools to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Behavioral Observation: Skilled in identifying developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and emotional issues.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Design and implement therapy plans (play therapy, CBT, behavior modification) suitable for children.
  • Counseling Skills: Provide emotional support and guidance to children and parents.
  • IEP Development: Contribute to Individualized Education Plans in coordination with special educators and therapists.
  • Parent Training & Support: Guide caregivers in managing behavior and supporting developmental milestones at home.
  • Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and pediatricians.
