Job Overview
As a skilled Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and executing diverse bookkeeping tasks. This position requires a disciplined professional who can ensure compliance with relevant regulations and provide assistance in preparing financial summaries and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable under supervision.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, entries, and adjustments.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
- Prepare and process basic financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support senior accountants in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide basic support during audits and financial reviews by gathering requested documents.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3-5 years of minimum experience in bookkeeping, and related internships is a plus but not mandatory.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and the MS Office Suite; basic Excel skills are sufficient.
- Knowledge: Basic accounting principles and practices; willingness to learn and grow in the field.
