Job Description:

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will lead and manage the entire Quality Assurance function within SocialPilot. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring high-quality software products that meet customer expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • QA Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
    • Maintain QA standards, processes, and methodologies.
    • Define and track key QA metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, test execution time).
    • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential quality issues.
  • Test Planning & Execution:
    • Plan, design, and execute various types of testing (functional, integration, regression, performance, security, usability).
    • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
    • Manage test environments and ensure their availability and stability.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers.
    • Assign tasks, review performance, and provide feedback.
    • Foster a culture of quality within the development team.
Requirements:
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Strong experience in software testing methodologies.
    • Experience with test automation (test frameworks, scripting languages).
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
    • Team leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with defect tracking tools.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with API testing and microservices testing.
    • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
    • Security testing tools and methodologies knowledge.
    • Performance testing tools expertise.
    • DevOps practices and tools familiarity.
    • ISTQB or relevant QA certifications.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
