Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting LeadThe Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Lead will be responsible for overseeing the safety of airport operations in Mangalore, Karnataka & Guwahati, Assam. This role involves ensuring that all ARFF services are provided in compliance with local and international aviation safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Crash Fire Tender (CFT) team to ensure round-the-clock readiness for emergency response.
  • Develop, implement, and review ARFF operational procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct regular training and drills for the CFT team to maintain peak performance and readiness.
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, and emergency services for seamless emergency response and mutual aid.
  • Oversee the maintenance and readiness of ARFF vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems.
  • Prepare and analyze incident reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to ARFF services.
  • Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance and leadership during simulated emergencies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold the highest standards of fire safety and emergency preparedness.
  • Provide leadership and support during actual emergency incidents, ensuring a swift and effective response to protect lives and property.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF).
Certifications:
  • Valid ARFF certification from a recognized aviation authority.
  • Valid certification in Fire Safety and Prevention.
Experience:
  • 10-15 years of experience in the airports industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management.
