We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with over 12 years of experience to fill this critical role. As a key contributor to system architecture discussions, you will write high-quality code using agile methodologies and provide technical leadership by mentoring and coaching other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex issues creatively and effectively by utilizing professional concepts and company objectives.
  • Participate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Write high-quality product or system development code using agile methodologies.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide constructive feedback to ensure ongoing learning and the use of software development best practices.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing the issues source and its impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Mentor, coach, and support engineers on the team, with a strong focus on feedback and growth.
  • Contribute to existing documentation and educational content based on product/program updates and user feedback.

Basic Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience with software development in programming languages such as Ruby, Go, and Java, with a preference for strong skills in data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Expertise in the paradigm of object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
  • A strong sense of writing and refactoring clean, maintainable code.
  • The ability and willingness to collaborate with key stakeholders outside your area of expertise.
