Internal Control Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking an Internal Control Specialist to provide assurance on the accuracy of stocks reported and lay a check on the controls around inventory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Oversight:
  • Develop and implement the monthly audit schedule and obtain approval from senior management.
  • Participate in scheduled audits and surprise audits, ensuring thoroughness and integrity.
  • Investigate inaccuracies observed during audits, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Loss Prevention & Investigation:
  • Develop and execute loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and external theft.
  • Conduct internal and external theft investigations, fraud detection, and CCTV surveillance.
  • Verify the accuracy of project vendor bill submissions, including measurements and billing.
  • Take prompt action to ensure monthly debits are executed in cases of stock pilferages.
  • Have the authority to question all processes within inventory and commercial areas, making reports accordingly.
