Key Data Engineer Position

Job Overview:

Azure Data Engineers are responsible for developing data load processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Python/PySpark.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement data load processes with expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Python/PySpark.
  2. Work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality database solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data warehouse solutions.
  4. Proficiency in standard file formats and markup languages such as JSON, XML, XSLT.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with oData Services/Kafka is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Unity Catalog.
  • Background in other database technologies like Mongo, Cosmos, MySQL or Oracle is an advantage.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in designing and implementing data load processes with extensive experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Python/PySpark.
  • Strong proficiency in Databricks & Python.
