Backend Developer Opportunity

This role involves designing and developing high-performance, secure applications using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices for fintech and payment systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Lead the design of system architecture and database schema for complex data-driven applications.
  • Continuously optimize code and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with Docker, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipelines is required.

Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in Git, version control workflows, and collaboration tools. Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies is also necessary.

The selected individual will be responsible for mentoring junior developers, delegating tasks, and assisting in managing timelines, technical blockers, and quality deliverables.

Required skills include:

  • 7-10 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
  • Proficiency with Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including complex queries and database performance optimization.
  • Deep understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipelines; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
  • Experience in cloud-based deployments, ideally on Oracle Cloud or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in Git, version control workflows, and collaboration tools.
  • Proven experience in debugging, profiling, and performance tuning of backend applications.
