Senior Valuation Professional

As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for leading valuation projects and providing expert guidance to junior team members. Your primary activities will focus on the valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for financial reporting purposes.
You will analyze historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks. This involves conducting thorough research and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Additionally, you will assist in the development of discount rates (WACC, IRR, WARA, etc.) and conduct financial statement analysis. You will also work closely with Associate level personnel, directing engagement activity and providing review and mentorship as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required;
- Advanced degree and/or certifications including MBA, CA, or CFA would be preferable;
- Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.

OthersExperience in valuing contingent consideration and valuation for mergers & acquisitions, and other transactions is highly desirable. Additionally, a fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and guidance transaction method is necessary.
A track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects and delivering under tight deadlines is essential. Functional understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations is also required.
