Healthcare Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our integration team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex healthcare interfaces using industry-standard technologies.

  • You will work closely with our clinical and IT teams to ensure seamless data exchange between clinical and enterprise systems, while ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards and workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex healthcare interfaces to support new clinical workflows and business requirements, utilizing your expertise in HL7 standards and interface engines.
  • Perform rigorous testing of interfaces to ensure data integrity, message routing accuracy, and system reliability.
  • Monitor interface performance and provide timely support for production issues, troubleshooting and resolving errors, message failures, and connectivity problems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all interfaces, including design specifications, data maps, and operational procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare integration/interface development.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 standards (v2.x, v3, FHIR, CCD).
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one interface engine: Corepoint, Rhapsody, or Mirth.
  • Good understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR data exchange, and interoperability concepts.
