Job Title: Electric Powertrain Mechanical Design Specialist



This is a challenging opportunity for a talented and innovative mechanical design engineer to join our team as an Electric Powertrain Mechanical Design Specialist.


As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing EV powertrain layouts and designing components for two- and three-wheelers and their integration.


The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of automotive EV powertrain components and emerging technologies, with proficiency in 3D modelling (Unigraphics), PLM tools, and 2D drafting. Experience in designing casings, gears, shafts, and their process knowledge is essential.


You will work closely with the engineering, design, and production teams to ensure seamless integration and timely project delivery. Your expertise in tolerance stack-up analysis, simulation tools like Hypermesh and ANSYS, and effective communication skills will enable you to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, a creative mindset, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and develop EV powertrain layouts and designs
  • Design components for two- and three-wheelers and their integration

  • Tolerance stack-up analysis and simulation using Hypermesh and ANSYS
  • Effective communication and documentation of design specifications, testing results, and patent applications


Requirements:
