Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing multi-gas sensor products from concept to production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Fusion 360, Inventor, and CATIA. They should also have a good understanding of materials science, electrochemistry, physics, and pure sciences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design complete sensor systems, including housings, gas flow architecture, simulation chambers, control units, and portable instruments
  • Collaborate closely with electronics, materials, and compliance teams to ensure seamless product integration
  • Optimize designs for suitability to manufacture, performance, and cost across diverse environmental conditions
  • Select materials and finishes compatible with gas sensing applications

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in mechanical/product design
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design
  • Strong aesthetic sense: color, geometry, simplicity
  • Expert in CAD tools: SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Fusion 360, Inventor, CATIA

Bonus Skills:

  • Understanding of electronics, chemistry, sensors, and packaging
  • Takes ownership from concept to full completion
