Job Summary

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Global Supply Organization, you will be responsible for managing pharmacy replenishment norms and distribution planning for our network of company-owned pharmacies in Africa.

This role requires a data-driven supply chain professional with strong analytical skills and experience in inventory modeling, forecasting, and data analysis. You will design replenishment frameworks, set stocking norms, analyze demand/sales data, and monitor compliance by in-country distribution teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define Replenishment Frameworks: Develop and refine stocking norms, safety stock levels, and replenishment cycles for each pharmacy based on sales velocity and product criticality.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze pharmacy sales, consumption, and stock movement data to create replenishment models and forecast requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring and Governance: Monitor adherence of local distribution teams to defined replenishment norms and highlight exceptions (stock-outs, excess stock, expiries) requiring corrective action.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, retail replenishment, or distribution analytics, preferably in pharma retail, healthcare distribution, or FMCG retail.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, forecasting, and inventory modeling, with proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel/Power BI.
About This Role

This position is based in an office environment with occasional travel to manufacturing sites, suppliers, and other company locations as required. The role may require extended hours during peak periods or in response to urgent supply chain issues.
