Job Specification

Process Specialist – Procurement Ops

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations and process improvement for end-to-end transactional procurement ensuring timely and accurate processing of procurement requests from initiation to order fulfillment.
  • Perform transactional activities of Operational Procurement (Spot buying/PR to PO/Vendor master data/Helpdesk service)
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the Global Business Services function.
  • Report procurement metrics and extract reports from SAP as required by business.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to Purchase Orders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders upon inquiries and concerns.
  • Adhere to operational procedures and standardized processes.
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders.
  • Identify potential issues and escalate appropriately.

Operational compliance on all regulatory guidelines and support on audit activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred. Strong negotiation skills and 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience.

SAP module knowledge and experience desirable.
