We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks to fill a challenging role.

About the Position
  • Job Title: Design Engineer
  • Location: Remote (with regular visits to clients)
  • Experience: 3-5 years

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical design principles, including design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA), computer-aided design (CAD), and finite element analysis (FEA). They will also be proficient in SolidWorks and other relevant software tools.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks and other CAD software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements and specifications
  • Develop and implement design improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Analyze and resolve design-related problems using FEA and other analytical tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with a focus on SolidWorks and CAD
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including DFMA and FEA
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
