Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual who wants to play a key role in safeguarding our on-premise or privately hosted cloud environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and enforcing security architectures tailored to private cloud, developing security policies, access controls, and segmentation strategies appropriate for private infrastructure, and monitoring private cloud environments using SIEM and logging tools for threats or breaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Architecture & Policy Development
  • Create secure architectures that protect our private cloud environment from potential threats.
  • Develop comprehensive security policies that align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Implement robust identity and access management systems to ensure authorized access to sensitive resources.
  • Securely manage user, service, and administrative access with least-privilege principles.
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation
  • Define and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Deploy security standards consistently across environments, driving automation and efficiency.
  • Monitoring, Compliance & Incident Response
  • Monitor private cloud environments for potential security threats or breaches.
  • Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security gaps.
  • Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to embed security into CI/CD and operations.
  • Educate stakeholders on secure practices and develop runbooks, SOPs, and incident response playbooks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud security, network security, or similar roles, especially within private or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Certifications in cloud security, such as CISSP, CCSP, or vendor-specific credentials.
