Internal Control Expert

We are seeking an experienced Internal Control Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of internal controls, ensuring timely reporting, and implementing control processes and corrective actions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting on-site internal control reviews and implementing control processes and corrective actions.
  • Undertaking special projects to identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation.
  • Assessing risks and implementing effective risk management strategies across all functional areas.
  • Facilitating the completion of mandatory statutory and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Sharing best practices across regions.
  • Supporting location management teams during operational and financial audits.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant with over 8 years of experience in internal audit or accounting audit roles.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to perform process audits and month-end reviews independently.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QAD/Hyperion.
