VMware Administrator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled VMware administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure operations team, you will be responsible for maximizing uptime and performance of SAN infrastructure and converged platforms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to storage, RecoverPoint, UCS, and vCentre monitoring results.
  • Plan and recommend infrastructure modifications or additional equipment to increase system capacities.
  • Analyze performance, security, and utilization metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with OEMs for hardware replacement, advanced troubleshooting, and code upgrades.
  • Manage daily operations, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely resolution of BMC tickets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain high levels of system uptime and performance.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in VMware administration.
  • Strong understanding of storage, networking, and virtualization concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
