UI Automation Engineer Role

The UiPath team is looking for an expert in UI automation to lead the development of our Integration Service.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting and engineering world-class, large-scale commercial applications and services.

Key responsibilities include developing robust and reliable components, identifying bottlenecks, and devising solutions to address engineering challenges.

You will also be responsible for owning end-to-end architecture and technical strategy for one of our core areas of product.

Additionally, you will define, promote, and ensure the adherence of best practices across our technology stack and create a culture of re-use.

Other key responsibilities include working with teams across other locations to innovate and develop best-in-class solutions; staying accountable for software deliverables to meet all requirements of quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, testability, etc.

You will also inspire the team and partners by bringing in new ideas to the table, defining next-generation interfaces, and providing guidance on best design practices.

Finally, you will partner with peers in the Product and Design teams to craft the best building blocks, API guidelines and standards, and evolve the team's vision, mission, and strategy.

  1. Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  2. 12+ years of experience architecting and engineering world-class, large-scale commercial applications and services.
  3. Proficiency in one or more system-level programming languages (C#, Java etc.) and a willingness to learn new ones.
  4. Programming experience with .NET framework.
  5. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, architectural design patterns, system design, and data structures & algorithms.
  6. Good grasp of multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous, cloud programming.
  7. Experience working with Cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
  8. Familiar with modern engineering practices, including agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps.
  9. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience in delivering critical time-bound projects, managing timelines, and team development.
  11. Proven track record of effectively collaborating with globally distributed teams.
  12. Ability to understand, communicate, provide feedback on, and drive complex technical decisions.

Desirable Skills

Programming experience with Java

Full-stack development experience

Knowledge of third-party complex API integrations such as Salesforce, Netsuite, etc.

Understanding of LLMs and the AI-powered API automation.
