Job Overview

 

  • This is a leadership position focused on delivering high-quality products and providing continuous feedback for improvement.
  • As lead quality assurance engineer, you will work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth feature delivery and raise the bar for all quality processes.
  • You will take ownership of release deliverables, multitask while mentoring junior team members, and generate key QA artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
  • Conduct exploratory testing, deploy microservices applications in the engineering environment, and support SRE teams during production releases.
  • Improve test plan review processes and ensure comprehensive coverage of test scenarios.
  • Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and provide root cause analysis when needed.
  • A bonus advantage is experience in scalability testing for SAAS applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automated testing of SAAS products, leading a team of 3-5 engineers.
  • Experience on public or private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a significant plus.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation for multi-tier enterprise and/or cloud-based SaaS applications.
  • Mastery of microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Proven expertise in functional UI and API automation.
  • Proficiency in Linux is essential.
  • Good to have experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Oracle DB.
