Culinary Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fine dining continental restaurant setting.

As a culinary professional, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of personal presentation and behavior at all times during service. You must demonstrate efficient time management, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

You will also need to have a thorough understanding of food safety protocols, including COSHH, health & safety, allergens, temperature records, labeling of fridges and food, and blast chilling.

Maintaining service standards for food preparation and presentation is essential, as well as ensuring the mise en place of your section is performed to high standards at all times.

You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and upkeep of equipment, as well as adhering to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.

Daily communication with senior chefs is key to resolving any issues that may arise, and you must support junior chefs to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.

A friendly, courteous, and professional service must be provided at all times, with good working relationships with colleagues and all departments.

You must report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform, maintaining the highest standard in hygiene and grooming, and being flexible to extend job duties as required.

The successful candidate will be able to confidently run multiple sections in the kitchen, providing exceptional leadership skills and teamwork.
