About this role :

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure.

This is a senior position that requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles and practices, as well as hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in infrastructure security, containerized applications, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

They will also be familiar with Terraform and able to write reliable software in Python or Go.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about tackling risks from misconfigurations and has good operations experience in running and maintaining software, operating a large cloud deployment, or creating and triaging alerts around the health and security of systems.

In this role, you will work closely with the Platform Team, Risk Team, and the broader Engineering teams to enhance the visibility of our cloud resources and ensure the secure configuration of our infrastructure.

You will design next-generation cloud infrastructure, define and embed security best practice and standards into our cloud engineering teams, build guardrails and define policy around IAM to ensure least privilege is enacted, identify ways to prevent new security misconfigurations, harden our existing cloud infrastructure, and review cloud integrations between Tide and any third parties.
