U.S. Accounting Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled U.S. accounting professional to manage end-to-end U.S. accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

This position is responsible for reviewing and processing weekly timesheets and client invoices accurately and on time, ensuring timely submission of payroll and accounting data, preparing regular and ad-hoc reports in QuickBooks, managing and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable, and assisting with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Process Timesheets & Invoices: Review and process weekly timesheets and client invoices accurately and on time.
  • Ensure Timely Submission of Payroll/Accounting Data: Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll and accounting data.
  • Prepare Regular & Ad-Hoc Reports: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports in QuickBooks as required.
  • Manage and Reconcile AP/AR Accounts: Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with General Ledger Entries & Reconciliations: Assist with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in staffing or consulting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, experience in payroll, AP/AR, and expense management, QuickBooks proficiency, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication and attention to detail.
