We are seeking a Chemical Process Engineer with expertise in Flow Chemistry and Batch Process Design. This is a high-impact opportunity for an early-career engineer to grow within a globally distributed pharma project team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize flow chemistry and batch processes for scale-up and commercial manufacturing.
  • Perform process design calculations, including heat and mass balance, reaction kinetics, equipment sizing, pressure drop, mixing, and scale-up parameters.
  • Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Support process safety assessments, including HAZOP, risk analysis, and safety studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust process design.
  • Evaluate new technologies and propose innovative solutions for continuous manufacturing and flow chemistry applications.
  • Provide process engineering support during pilot plant and commercial scale-up.
  • Work with procurement and vendors for equipment selection and specification preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory guidelines, and EHS standards in process design.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, 5–7 years of experience in process design engineering, and hands-on expertise in flow chemistry and batch process design. Proficiency in simulation software is preferred.
