We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Professional to join our team. As a Junior Security Analyst, you will play a vital role in protecting our organization's data and systems from cyber threats.

This shift-based position requires someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and has a strong desire to learn and grow with our team. You will work in a 24/7/365 environment, rotating through nights, mornings, and evenings to ensure our security posture remains vigilant.

As a Junior Security Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Monitoring and analyzing security events/threats/incidents using security management tools according to assigned shift.
  • Performing investigation and triage of events/incidents and escalating according to SOPs.
  • Staying up-to-date on threat intelligence that may affect our infrastructure.
  • Auditing existing assets to identify weaknesses and suggest improvements.
  • Maintaining records of security measures taken and other security-related information.
  • Learning to use and monitor different Cybersecurity toolsets such as IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, MDM, WAF, and many more.
  • Performing risk assessments to determine potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Assisting the Information Security team as required.
  • Maintaining shift logs with relevant activity.

In addition to these responsibilities, we also expect our ideal candidate to have a strong foundation in the following areas:

  • ">
  • Awareness of cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Understanding of Networking and application level protocols.
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, EDR, and SIEM.
  • Knowledge of any scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).

We are looking for someone who is not only knowledgeable but also possess excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work well under pressure - particularly during a security incident or regulatory audit - is essential.
