Job Description

As a Clinical Research Associate, you will be responsible for conducting studies to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new drugs. This role involves working closely with study personnel to design and execute clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Request and manage required animal numbers for studies.
  2. Observe study animals for clinical signs and perform functional observation battery tests.
  3. Handle and store chemicals, reagents, and solutions in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
  4. Prepare and administer doses to animals via various routes.
  5. Weigh and monitor animal health, including body temperature, feed consumption, and dermal observations.
  6. Randomize study animals to ensure unbiased results.
  7. Perform pharmacological and efficacy studies, including batch release tests and potency assays.
  8. Collect, separate, and store blood samples for further analysis.
  9. Compile and verify study reports for accuracy and completeness.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams and sponsors during audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a research setting, preferably in a GLP laboratory.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
