Job Title:

Senior Abroad Counsellor


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with leads to initiate contact and build rapport.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their interest, needs, and eligibility for educational programs.
  • Cultivate genuine interest and necessity in upGrad's offerings through effective communication.
  • Coordinate schedules and ensure smooth communication between leads and admission counsellors.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and follow-up activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of Edtech-sales experience, preferably in study abroad.
  • Min Graduation is required with a strong understanding of sales principles.
  • Ability to work a 6-day work week and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven track record of meeting targets in the existing company.

Performance Indicators:
  • Minimum 300 minutes of talk time over calls per day.
  • Book 5 Video Counselling sessions per day.
  • Connect with at least 80% of daily leads.
  • Meet and exceed weekly revenue targets.
