Senior Academic Leader

The Vice Chancellor is a senior academic leader responsible for driving and executing a world-class strategy to position the institution as a leader in research, innovation, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap to achieve top national and global rankings in education and research.
  • Promote research excellence through cutting-edge research centres, industry partnerships, and interdisciplinary research projects.
  • Enhance academic standards by driving curriculum innovation and ensuring rigorous academic processes and accreditations.
  • Cultivate High-Performing Teams by recruiting, retaining, and developing world-class faculty and researchers.
  • Provide students with opportunities for research, global exposure, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
  • Drive significant funding for research and academic initiatives through grants, endowments, and industry partnerships.
  • Promote external engagement and reputation building through global partnerships, alliances, and institutional branding.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a globally recognized academic record.
  • At least 20 years of academic experience, including senior leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive large-scale, high-impact research projects.
  • Experience in transforming institutions through strategic planning and execution.
  • Able to secure substantial funding from industry, government, and philanthropic sources.
