Job Title: Finance Management Trainee

This is a full-time role for a Finance Management Trainee based in India.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting financial research, analyzing financial statements, developing financial models, and preparing reports to support business growth and strategic decision-making.

  • Conduct industry and company research using public and subscription-based databases to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Perform financial and operational benchmarking of global companies to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Analyze market trends, growth drivers, and risk factors in targeted sectors to inform business development strategies.
  • Assist in building financial models (3-statement, DCF, comps, etc.) to forecast revenue and expenses and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Support in preparing investment memorandums and pitch books to present to clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform due diligence support for M&A and fundraising deals to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports for clients to communicate findings and insights.
  • Summarize insights into structured reports, dashboards, and actionable recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery under the manager's guidance.
  • Gain exposure to marketing, operations, deal origination, or investor outreach as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to internal process development and improve business outcomes.

The role involves daily interaction with team members to communicate findings, support decision-making processes, and assist with various accounting tasks. Additionally, the Trainee will participate in training sessions and seminars to enhance financial and analytical skills.
