Job Overview

A Proposal Engineer is required to collaborate with the project team in developing and implementing proposals for projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, including control panels, DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC, and other control panels. Experience with Honeywell systems is an added advantage.

  • Analyze and interpret electrical drawings to select switchgear according to motor load lists.
  • Calculate current loads and bus bar selection using basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel.
  • Prepare detailed technical offers, system architectures, Bills of Materials, heat load and power calculations for control panels.
  • Develop strong communication, analytical, relationship management, and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and evaluating technical documents for project bidding processes.
  • Organizing bid initiation and review meetings.
  • Leading core teams to evaluate customer requirements and produce technical responses to RFQs.
  • Conducting site visits to collect information and address commercial and technical meetings with prospective clients.
  • Maintaining project sales meetings and preparing weekly reports on project status.
  • Coordinating with customers, managing materials, vendors, subcontractors, and staff.
