Senior Financial Analyst

This role involves assisting in the accounting and financial processes of a company.

• Issuance of debit notes to all inter-company entities
• Accounting for debit/credit notes received from corporate and other inter-company entities after thorough review and processing
• Responsibility for inter-company account reconciliation and balance confirmation with all other entities as part of the month-end process
• Vendor card creation and updating details as required, adhering to established processes
• Collaboration with GL coordinators for clarification on any issues
• Coordination with approvers to obtain approval before posting any general ledger entries

• Strong knowledge of general ledger (GL) and reconciliation of GL balances vs. sub-ledger
• Proficiency in downloading various reports from ERP during month-end processing
• Preparation of MIS reports, revenue flash reports, and monthly reports
• Reconciliation of GL balances vs. sub-ledger
• Ability to prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and ensure completeness of financial records
• Conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate any discrepancies or anomalies
• Good understanding of GL processes
• Vendor account reconciliation and payment process based on aging reports
• Experience working under global AP, AR, and GL systems
• Mastery of month-end journal entry preparation and knowledge of debit/credit transactions
• Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and accounting entries
• Preparation of bank reconciliation statements
• Positive pay uploading, tracking, and publishing check details daily
