Senior Front End Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Engineer to join our retail technology team. This individual will be responsible for developing new front-end features for store engagement projects, including digital store pages, local outreach, and in-store digital visuals integrated with our content management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end code for large-scale web applications.
  • Design and architect enterprise JavaScript applications using React.js and Next.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related technical field.
  2. 10+ years of software engineering experience, including solid understanding of standard data structures and algorithms.
  3. Expert level knowledge of ReactJS ecosystem.
  4. AWS expertise.
  5. Demonstrated experience in web application development for large enterprises.
  6. Ability to design and architect enterprise JavaScript applications using React.js and Next.js.
  7. Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (such as Redux).
  8. Expertise in understanding of web markup (HTML5 and CSS3), JSX, and templating technologies.
  9. Experience writing unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks.
  10. Proficient understanding of build tools and code version tools, such as Git.
  11. Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
  12. Demonstrated understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  13. Ability to review specifications documents and provide technical inputs on successfully implementing business solutions.
  14. Good understanding of browser development tools and performance optimization.
  15. Understanding of Sonar and Code Quality Metrics.
  16. Ability to work independently on tasks and lead a project to completion.
