Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead our data engineering initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will design, deploy, and maintain our organization's data platforms.

You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing existing data collection systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to meet service-level agreements (SLAs). Additionally, you will supervise junior data engineering teams to ensure they carry out their duties in line with business goals.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for deploying and managing data solutions in the cloud. They should also possess strong knowledge of building and optimizing ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and experience working with data warehouse solutions like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.

Advanced SQL skills and extensive understanding of Python are necessary, along with familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and related tools for processing and analyzing large volumes of data. Experience in managing and optimizing relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is also required.

Leadership qualities, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, engage directly with end users, and resolve code errors are also crucial.
