Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced security risk specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a world-class security program that ensures the safety of our customers and assets.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Performing risk assessments of sites and operations, identifying areas of vulnerability and framing mitigation measures.
- Partnering with stakeholders and program teams to execute company security policies and provide security services to asset protection within assigned locations.
- Completing and coordinating final tests and acceptance of site security systems that leverage access control systems.
- Establishing and implementing effective procedures and prevention programs impacting losses, pilferage, accident trends, and conducting job hazard and job safety analyses.
- Performing frequent site security audits to identify non-compliance equipment and processes, and implementing solutions to eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injury.
- Ensuring guarding vendors have a clear understanding of expectations and holding them accountable to deliver on service level agreement requirements.
- Working with guarding vendor's management to recruit, hire, and retain candidates who raise the performance bar of the security services organization.
- Building and deploying security training programs, serving as department liaison and security subject matter expert (SME), and effectively addressing safety and security incidents.
- Enhancing, tracking, and reporting on metrics which are key performance indicators, and coordinating with various support teams as needed.
