As a senior tax strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect tax, with a focus on GST, customs, and excise.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cultivate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and relationships.
  2. Provide practice leadership and strategic guidance to ensure the continued success of our indirect tax practice.
  3. Advise clients on regulatory matters and advocate for their interests through effective communication and negotiation.
  4. Develop and implement litigation strategies to resolve disputes and protect client interests.
  5. Build and maintain a knowledge capital that drives thought leadership and expertise in indirect tax.
  6. Identify and develop talent within the team, providing training and development opportunities to ensure career progression.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and achieve business objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  1. The successful candidate must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, with additional qualifications such as LLB or MBA (Finance/Taxation) being preferred.
  2. 15+ years of experience in indirect tax, with at least 5+ years in a leadership/Partner/Director role in a Big4 or top-tier consulting firm.
  3. Proven expertise in GST legislation, litigation, and strategic tax advisory across various industries.
  4. Strong experience in business development and revenue origination.
