Offensive Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Offensive Security Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality security services to our clients. As an integral part of our APAC Offensive Security team, you will report directly to a Vice President and work closely with our clients to deliver projects that exceed their expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offensive security methodologies and be proficient in performing web application, API, mobile, and infrastructure penetration tests. Additionally, they will possess excellent analytical skills, enabling them to draft comprehensive reports based on assessment results and provide valuable insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various types of penetration tests, including web application, API, mobile, and infrastructure assessments.
  • Author detailed vulnerability reports and executive summaries for our clients.
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements, update them on project status, and present findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge up-to-date with the latest trends in cybersecurity and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing, cloud security, or red teaming.
  • A solid understanding of offensive security frameworks, such as OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, PTES, or others.
  • The ability to analyze root causes and provide actionable recommendations to our clients.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in information security, computer science, engineering, software engineering, or IT/System/Network administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
