Job Title: Geodetics/Geomatics Specialist

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Geodetics/Geomatics Specialist to join our team at ExxonMobil Corporation. As a key member of our spatial data management group, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our geospatial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply geodetic mathematics to measure the earth's geometry, orientation in space, and gravitational field.
  • Possess working knowledge of satellite geodesy and its relationship with international reference systems.
  • Develop and implement data mappings between different systems.
  • Design, implement, and support spatial data repositories and software tools.
  • Perform quality control checks on vendor reports and data deliverables.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Geomatics, Geospatial Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in oil and gas subsurface geoscience/geodetic/geomatic domains.
  • Deep industry knowledge within at least one core geodetic discipline.
  • Proficiency in multiple technologies providing spatial analysis capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Capability to work independently on various tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
