Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Test Engineer to drive the quality, assurance, performance, and reliability of our software products through both automated and manual testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to software design discussions, and advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.
  • Conduct automated and manual testing for Mobile and Web applications, identifying and reporting defects and issues.
  • Develop and maintain test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to enhance the efficiency of the testing process.
  • Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code to automate testing procedures and support the backend of our Kounsel product.
  • Ensure the quality of AI and Machine Learning-driven projects through rigorous testing and validation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in roles such as SQA Engineer, STE, SDET, or Software Engineer.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation techniques, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automation Tools: Solid experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Manual Testing: Experience in manual testing processes.
  • AI/ML Knowledge: Comfort with AI and Machine Learning projects.
  • Specialized Testing: Experience with performance testing, unit testing, security testing, or other specialized areas.
  • Tech Savvy: Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and databases.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Working Conditions:

  • Availability to work during U.S. Business hours (EST/CST/PST).
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of multi-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, while also contributing to a team environment.
  • Must have the equipment and environment to work remotely (laptop/computer, reliable internet connection, quiet, conducive space).
