Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Application Support Engineer. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and experience in supporting complex applications.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of application development, maintenance, and support. They will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-grade billing applications, as well as troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Applications: Develop, maintain, and support enterprise-grade billing applications.
  • Work on ServiceNow Tickets: Handle incident, request, and change management through ServiceNow tickets.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Code Development: Write and optimize code in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, and Shell scripting.
  • Build and Run Activities: Ensure smooth execution of build and run activities.
  • Billing Process Support: Provide support for billing-related processes and systems.
  • On-Call Standby Support: Participate in on-call standby support on weekends or EU business hours as required.

Key Skills:

  • Coding Abilities: Strong coding ability in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, Shell scripting.
  • Informix Errors: Experience in troubleshooting Informix errors.
  • Billing Workflows: Prior experience in billing applications and strong understanding of billing workflows.
  • Enterprise-Scale Applications: Hands-on experience in supporting enterprise-scale applications.
  • Rotational Shifts: Ability to work in rotational shifts (including EU time zone coverage).

Qualification & Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Technologies Certifications: Any certification in Java, Informix, or related technologies would be a plus.
