Job Overview

Senior IT Auditor Position

This is a senior level IT auditor position responsible for assisting with audit planning, execution and documentation of IT audits. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the internal audit team to assess organizational IT risks and ensure effective audit coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute comprehensive IT audits throughout the organization, identifying control gaps and areas of heightened risk exposure related to governance, risk management and internal controls within IT processes.
  • Design and deliver recommendations for management to mitigate identified risks, ensuring that all audit findings are thoroughly documented and communicated effectively.
  • Collaborate with the internal audit team to proactively assess organizational IT risks and ensure effective audit coverage, leveraging established department tools and standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive historical audit work paper documentation that fully supports reported audit results.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT auditor with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities. Progressive experience in IT auditing and/or IT risk, compliance functions is preferred. Key qualifications include:

  • 4-5 years of IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4-5 years of IT experience with an advanced degree.
  • Proven experience executing information systems audits and IT general controls (ITGCs) in infrastructure platform, cloud platforms, databases and large-scale ERP packages.
  • Knowledge and interest in all things related to data, technology, including the latest trends and developments, with a specific focus on cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, enterprise applications, disaster recovery, artificial intelligence, systems development methodologies and SecOps systems.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CIPM, CIPP, CISSP, AWS Practitioner, CIA are a plus.
