Job Description:

Genpact's Advanced Technology Services and Solutions team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Additive) to join our dynamic workforce. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining electrical hardware design for medical devices in the Additive Domain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in additive manufacturing or related areas. You should possess excellent analytical skills, proficiency in CAD software, and knowledge of various additive manufacturing technologies and material properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and optimize designs for components suitable for additive manufacturing processes, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
  • Analyze and improve additive manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality output.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials for additive manufacturing applications, considering factors like strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that manufactured components meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to integrate additive manufacturing into existing workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in additive manufacturing or related areas within mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of various additive manufacturing technologies, and familiarity with material properties.
