Job Description:

As an ETL Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of large-scale data pipelines. Your expertise in Kafka/Redpanda and MongoDB will be instrumental in validating data integrity.

Responsibilities:
  • Validate ETL processes and reconcile data across systems
  • Test Kafka/Redpanda pipelines, including producers, consumers, topics, schema registry, and Avro/JSON
  • Ensure high throughput, accuracy, and consistency of data
  • Write and run MongoDB queries for data validation
  • Develop and maintain test cases, defect reports, and collaborate with developers/product teams
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of process methodologies used in software development
Technical Skills:
  • Excellent understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and ETL testing
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka/Redpanda
  • Good grasp of throughput, consistency, and defect tracking
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Scripting skills in Python/Java for automation
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes
  • Exposure to Flink/Spark or other streaming frameworks
Work Environment:
  • Ability to work in remote and/or office setting
  • Flexibility with working hours based on team and client needs
