Cloud Transformation Business Development Leader

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Leader to join our Modernization team at AWS India. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving customers' digital transformation strategy aligned to their business priorities and challenges. You will provide recommendations on the most appropriate pathways for modernizing their legacy applications, databases, and platform services, and empower them to execute on this strategy by bringing together a breadth of AWS resources across different functions and roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with key customer stakeholders (CIO/CTO/CDO/Head of Applications) to understand their top business priorities and challenges, and build the business case for digital transformation by working alongside AWS account team and business value specialists.
- Conduct application portfolio analysis and application discovery to identify target applications and to-be state.
- Engage subject-matter experts from the specialist community to develop high-level solution design for individual modernization pathways.
- Work with solution architect community to conduct architecture design workshops and build POCs.
- Work with account teams to identify high-propensity accounts for 1:1 engagement, and prospect for opportunities.
- Devise 1:many campaigns with partner and marketing teams to create awareness, and generate demand.
- Enable account managers and partner sales teams on business value, engagement models, and commercial programs to scale pre-sales capability.
- Enable solution architects and partner technical teams on modernization pathways and tools to scale delivery capability.
- Work with sales and technical leadership to drive accountability, establish engagement models, and mechanisms for review and reporting.
- Voice of the Customer: Create lighthouse references, and share customer and market insights with WW service teams to influence roadmap for services and tools, and develop investment programs.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
