Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Oracle-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
  • Monitoring application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc.
  • Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Take care of database design and implementation.
  • Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
  • Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required.
  • Perform general technical troubleshooting and provide consultation to development teams.
  • Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
  • Patch management and version control.
  • Perform database and application tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Cloning DEV and TEST from PROD environments.
Required Skills

We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials. Familiarity with Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c is also essential.

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials.
  • Experience with Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c.
  • Experience with Demantra Administration.
  • Knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Linux scripts.
  • Oracle Access Manager integration with EBS and Demantra (a plus).
  • Wide knowledge of general database skills.
  • Knowledge in any of the following is a plus:
  • DB2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle GoldenGate
