Job Title: Assistant Manager/ Manager - CAT/Treaty Modelling

This role is a vital part of the team responsible for managing and analysing data to provide risk assessment and catastrophe modelling services.

As an Assistant Manager/Manager in our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5-6 members, ensuring the highest levels of exposure data accuracy and completeness. You will also be expected to evaluate and improve the end-to-end catastrophe modelling process to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 5-6 members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments on individual accounts or portfolios using schedule and modelling data.
  • Ensure all logical checks are in place in data and format, scrub and arrange it in a manner understood by the model.
  • Provide accurate and timely account pricing based on service level agreements.
  • Maintain exposure databases and ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Support underwriters in queries related to exposure movement year over year.
  • Contribute ideas for process enhancement and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience in Cat Modelling/Treaty Modelling with insurance/reinsurance background.
  • Experience with AIR touchstone, SQL, MS Office, and Excel manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Insurance certification or projects in dissertation.
  • Advance Excel/VBA programming language.
  • Team management skills.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of catastrophe modelling processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
