Job Title: Building Information Modeling Specialist

The role of Building Information Modeling Specialist plays a pivotal part in driving the adoption and implementation of advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to elevate design, planning, and execution of construction projects. This position supports the organization's strategic focus on delivering innovative infrastructure solutions by leveraging cutting-edge modeling tools like Tekla to optimize project workflows, improve accuracy, and ensure seamless collaboration across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage accurate BIM models for construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to integrate BIM workflows into project execution.
  • Create detailed 3D models using Tekla software, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation.
  • Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
  • Support the Head of Engineering in strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments.
  • Deliver BIM outputs on time to meet project milestones and client expectations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Tekla software and other BIM tools, with a strong portfolio of construction modeling projects.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing BIM workflows and standards in large-scale projects.
